Fostering saves lives. Because we are a foster-based rescue, we can only rescue as many animals as we have open homes for. When you foster, you give a animal a safe place to land, time to decompress, and the foundation they need to find their forever family.
Whether you can host for two weeks or a few months, your support directly makes our work possible.
What Does WTFR Provide?
You provide the space and love—we cover the everything else. We ensure our foster homes have everything necessary to care for their foster animal, including:
Food, bowls, and basic supplies
Crates, beds, toys, collars, and leashes
Medical care, routine vaccinations, and medications
Support and guidance every step of the way
As with our adoptive homes, we always try to the best of our ability to match the foster animal to the foster home. We will always take into consideration you, your lifestyle, and other members of your household, before asking you to foster a specific pet.
