Terms and Conditions

Applying to adopt an animal from WTFR means that you agree to the following:

• Giving said pet a loving and healthy home & keeping him/her UTD on vaccines & preventatives
• The first 2 weeks of any adoption is a trial period, at any point during this time, you can reach out and let the rescue know that it is not a good fit for a full refund.
• If at ANY point in the pet's life you determine that you are not a good fit with that pet, you agree to contact WTFR and surrender the animal back to our rescue.  Do NOT surrender your pet to a county shelter, another rescue, or another person without WTFR being involved.
• WTFR processes & chooses applicants based on what will be the best fit for the pet in question.  Please bear in mind that every animal is different and has differing needs, so not every home is a good fit for every animal.
• You agree to us contacting your personal references and your veterinarian to gather more information about you & your current pets.
• Any animal entering a new environment is likely to act nervous, reserved, or "different" than when you first meet them in foster care, until they have settled into your home and your routines.  Please give your new furry family members ample time to settle in.
