About Wagon Tails Farm

Our Mission

Our mission here at WTF Rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome as many animals as we can in a safe and loving environment. We are fortunate enough to have a great relationship with several veterinary hospitals to ensure

that we meet any and all medical needs for the animals we take in.

Our motto is very similar to our mission:

Rescue, Rehome, Reimagine, Remember.

Our Story

Wagon Tails Farm is a foster-based rescue that started in Duplin County NC, but has quickly grown to cover more area. We created this rescue to take in companion & farm animals which are in need of a new home. No matter what the former circumstances.

Wagon Tails Farm is a foster-based rescue that started in Duplin County NC, but has quickly grown to cover more area. We created this rescue to take in companion & farm animals which are in need of a new home. No matter what the former circumstances.

We look to work as diligently as possible with local shelters to help decrease their populations in order to help reduce, and eventually eliminate, the need for euthanizing animals due to lack of space.

We also work to help the general public better understand the huge importance to spay & neuter animals, about proper training, care & shelter for animals, and helping to keep animals with their owners who fall upon hard times when possible.

We remind everyone to remember that you CAN make a difference.  As we steadily increase not only our number of foster homes and animals, we also grow our volunteer base, our social media following, and our donor base!

But we can’t do it alone, and that’s where you come in!  While we are still a newer organization on paper, our members and decision makers have been heavily involved in rescue and/or veterinary care for many years before we began this venture.

As a registered 501(c)3 with the IRS any donations, grants, services, time, etc. for our organization are considered tax-deductible and we’d be happy to supply you with an official thank you letter for your records upon request.
